Workflow
My goal is to make the process of editing your videos or podcast as quick and efficient as possible.
1.
Discuss your editing needs.
Whether you’re looking for an editor for a wedding film, short film, YouTube video, commercial project or podcast edit I can help. Let’s arrange a time when we can chat to discuss your editing needs and your workflow. I work with clients to style match their videos, if you can provide reference videos I can start to put together your quote.
2.
Contracts and details.
Once the details of your editing project are confirmed, I will provide a contract that will include expected delivery times and the agreed quote, once this is signed and your deposit paid, I can begin your project straight away.
3.
Provide raw footage.
Cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, and MASV are popular among clients. You can send me a hard drive if you prefer.
4.
Editing begins.
Now your edit is underway. I will send you regular updates and ask for feedback when rough cuts are available to make sure you are happy.
5.
Project complete.
Once the editing is complete and any amendments have been made and confirmed with you, I can put them in any particular format(s) and export the videos. It will then be time for you to pay the remainder of your balance. After that, you can send the videos to your clients, upload them or tweak and adjust them yourself.
